Are England and Australia ODI teams overhyped for this world cup?

I had this hunch even before the tournament began when Ireland was posting huge scores against England even in England and Australia is loosing matches vs a depleted Indian team right before the tournament.

Both the teams did not have good starts. I still think they are very good teams and will likely make it to Semi Finals (especially if SA and Pak does not play well against these two teams). 
But they are not invincible even if they reach the knockouts in Indian conditions.

In these conditions they are not that good. They happen to meet each other at Modi stadium (Damn they made sure Gujarat ground makes most of the money while getting all the publicity) . It will be interesting how that match goes.

It's better to lose earlier in the tournament and get it out of the system than lose later.

Eng lost to Aus SL Pak in 2019 WC... So in this round Robin format its okay to lose a few. 

If they catch momentum in later half they will be dangerous. 

Same with Australia who could wreck everyone in KO's.

England will lose 5-7 matches in WC 2023.

 

Aus will lose 4-5 matches.

England don't have the players with numbers this time. Backing players by trusting their ability. It's clearly not working. Australia will come back strong.

England will have altogether different team in next wc ...The current lot is mostly 32-33+ and won't be playing much after the wc. Same with Australia .

 

It was good till it lasted for England.

 

Still England being England can win it, they lost against Ireland last time in wt20 and went on to win the wt20,so all isn't lost.
