he is ganguly type bowler. We can made same mistake by chosing V Iyer how we did with Shankar in 2019 WC.

I just hope Hardik is fully match fit soon. He is the key player if we reach to final. Final is in Ahmedabad and he is the one who can be difference in final by bowling and batting both.

Plan B should have been trailed for months and months before the WC, I dont think India have one.

lol Dibbly dobbly, that expression was by an English commentator, so true too.

 

Yes India need 3 pacers and the two spinners in Jaddu and Kuldeep.

I would take the hard decision of sky Ashwin and shami coming in place of pandya Thakur and Kuldeep.

 

On these spinning tracks Jadeja is doing well. Ashwin  will do ok too. This gives us batting depth. Yes we lose a very good bowler in Kuldeep but it helps balance out the team. Plus side..we can unleash Kuldeep in the knockouts as the sena semi finalist won't be exposed ..or we may not if the above team works. Either way..I think we should try this combination against New Zealand and see if it works or not. Can always revert back to sky and shami replacing pandya and Thakur.

We can't change Hardik the allrounder with either batsman or bowler alone. It is hard to match person. There must be another fast bowling allrounder from the local circut who can replace him. I dont see any one else could replace him.

even if he comes back, his bowling will be much curtailed. he will become 6th bowler instead of 5th. maybe bowl 3-4 overs per match, T20 style

there is no major injury but he has a sprain,they only get better with time.not sure he can back for the england game.
