KL should remain at number 5, no need to change his spot, if iyer does not workout then Pandya should be at number 4.

Very lucky against England, that game was more about the performance of our bowlers than our batsmen.

 

If we did that in a final against Australia or NZ we would lose.

Good workout today. Reaching 350 without Rohit's contribution is massive.

 

Gill,Kohli,Iyer all got good runs without any one dominating. SKY looked good before being cheeky and Jaddu finished well.

 

Tail is bit of issue. Bumrah looks better than Shami at 8. They should be told to get some bat and take single instead of swinging blindly.

 

Wanted to see how spinners do here but pacers didn't leave much scope

I don't think Pandya should be part of this world cup anymore. Pandya will be too much out of touch and match practice. Let SKY get comfortable in his role.

 

Unless there is an injury , this is playing eleven till finals for me. Iyer also scored today.

Shubhman and Iyer are both hit or miss. do not evoke any confidence whatsoever.

Replace Surya with Pandya.

 

Pandya is as good an ODI batsman (better actually). Even List A records are comparable.

 

Plus brings his batting.
