Actually it's super 6 stage like 2003 senior WC, so India and Pakistan are now in same grp

Saharan is not..he plays very slowly..you dont need to do power hitting but singles and strike rotation can be done too..Other top teams do have some good hitting ability..we need to move on with the world..

having said that he provides some solidity though..

Dhas looks like a really good batsmen..

 

Arshin unfortunately turns out to be a lazy player overall, doesn’t inspire confidence in batting top of the order..Bowling wise also he is a dinky do my bowler who just ambles in.. He has a lot of scope to improve, first will be athleticism

Pakistan has got a bad match up vs Aussies but could be a close game.

Arshin's batting looks very lazy...  Why is he opening?  Seems he is like Shivam Dube with no power.  Very leg sideish player..  With minimal off side game. 

Can be used in lower middle order vs spin though

Pakistani batting line up is full of lefties this time around...  We had trouble in the past against them. 

Don't think we got a decent off spinner too..  

Nepalis & Bangla on the other hand pushed them to the brink.

I saw tri series lead up to wcup..Mphaka and Mkoena troubled Indian batters with pace and bounce..however I dont think they played together..would be interesting to see how batters tackle them when they bowl as a pair..

Mphaka has been their main bowler , indians played against him , would know what to expect , however venue change play a big role, from Bloemfontein to Benoni , adjustment might be difficult for our boys, SA have an upper edge in the home advantage 

.

 

Pakistan vs Bangladesh happened in Benoni & by the way the balll was talking , it seems 180 is also a good score, hence the dynamics have changed now, india will be in in an unknown territory, hopefully they find some luck in the knock outs, which will be needed.

 

 

The other thing is both the teams played 4 seamers in Benoni, if naman tiwari goes away what will india do, remove shukla or murugan ? will be difficult looking at the conditions not spin friendly & shukla was bowling aggressively.

yes india’s strength has been left arm bowlers this time around, they have only murugan & moliya got off spin & saharan for some part time, however murugan to be is a defensive bowler , doesn’t go for wickets , he has hardly taken 2 -3 wickets in the last 10 matches, so he is no pandey, india looking at the conditions can get another seamer in his place if the pitch is seamer friendly

He has been opening in  all the U19 matches uptick now hence they are not shifting his position however with the assistance seamers we’re getting jn Benoni , he seems a walking wicket.. will be team management’s decision to find the best balance for the conditions and the opposition

Pakistan at least 5 if not others are over aged, seems pakistan  u23 is playing, you look at the physique of the pakistanis and compare with other asian teams is a huge difference… India almost looks malnutritioned, Put moliya in front of mohammad zeeshan will look like a kid playing along his uncle.

 

However with pak 23 team now they are a match to other SENA countries, likes of Aus , SA etc. that’s the difference between asian and SENA countries boys, SENA boys have such a good athletic physique, look at Vidler, Anderson, Dixon, Steve stolk, Marias, Norton, Kelly, benkensten etc..all athletic & huge physiques.. Saharan, Moliya, Adarsh, murugan, look tiny in comparison, however they are athletic in their own way.. murugan abhishek has been one of the best fielders in the indian team and in the tournament, difference comes in primary skills such as batting or bowling where the physique gives a distinct advantage..
