Wow and we talk about not having merit based selection … how the bloody hell is Dhoni qualified to be a coach ? .. why not just give the reigns of Indian selection to India Cements and Kasi Vishwanathan … 

 

We need more people like Dilip T who has made coaching their career … this is not a popularity contest …  

 

Dravid at least has passed level 2 coaching and then became U19 coach .. will dhoni even put that work ethic in … he looks retired .. let him play for India cements and while away his time ..

 

Dravid is probably the most relieved man  , he will never get involved in the BCCI mess … it’s going to be very hard to ask some one to be the coach of the Indian team now … no foreigner will take and no Indian will take it either

Gary Kirsten was a genius to leave on a high as he knew India had no chance to win again especially outside home conditions.

I am not suggesting Dravid is doing a favor . I am purely saying Suggesting that Dhoni is unqualified to a be coach and is illogical .

Dhoni was appointed as team mentor for World T20 2021. We didn't even get past the group stage then and lost our first ever World Cup/T20 match to Pak in the same cup.

MSD should stay far away from Indian cricket now and ppl who suggest MSD to be a coach should stop watching the game ..

That whole tournament was win toss, chase, win game. No team which batted first won and India batted first both against Pak and NZ.
