PCB really f'd up Shaheen by overplaying him.

He is not the same bowler since the knee injury. They showed clips of how he has had to change his bowling

action.

IMO he should be dropped until he has made a full recovery.

He's a T20 bowler like every Pakistani bowler

True. He is not a skilled long format bowler. He relies on new ball doing some tricks and getting wickets. Once that passage is over he relies more on mistakes from batsmen rather than setting up a player and getting the wicket.  He is over-rated in long formats.

He needs to up the pace. 136 to 143 144 is the sweet spot

He was averaging 131 132 in the test match instead of 137 to 139

Most of the Pakistanis believe that he is just tired and burnt out.

No one is really willing to believe that he is simply not good enough bowler.

For his height , average bounce which he extracts is far less

You need to be up there on hard surfaces of Australia

Ishant too lacked given his height, but he was far relentless in his line and length than Shaheen

Ishant improved further with his back of length deliveries which are bread and butter lengths in Australia specially in Perth

Ishant has a killer inswinger to the right hander. He can keep hitting the same length something Shaheen has never shown he can do.

This is beyond disgrace. These clowns should just not be given visa to Australia.

Not only that this record is disgusting but these guys are spineless morons who neither have grit nor strategy.

Whats the point of fast bowling when you keep giving away runs.

Fitness is important to succeed in Australia, Kookaburra stops moving once the shine is gone and so the side movement is limited. Hence to extract something out of the pitch bowlers has to be super consistent and not spray the ball. Cummins & Hazelwood are super consistent with their accuracy & lengths.

I agree.

Think that is why Shehzad has had some success in first test despite being slow on pace. He was consistent enough.

Although, jamal got a fifer - but he was all over the place and gave away too many runs which proved to be costly.

And it seems like Shaheen Sahib has forgotten how to land the ball after marriage.
