What hype ? Most people never heard him before he was  picked for the Australia tour.

 

Anyway his bowling is for longer formats where you need genuine wicket taking deliveries. In T20's he will just go for runs.

India were never outright favourites in a T20 game against Pakistan. Never for once 2007. This is not a format where there are favourites unles it's Australia vs Namibia or something.
