Trades won't work for RCB. They have to first get rid of chinna smallswamy.. that ground makes it a lottery for any team and completely robs them of their home advantage. Then they can think about moving on from Kohli's PR. You don't have to stack team with overpaid overseas batsmen, picking below avg Indian batsmen to mask Kohli's strikerate and make him look good vs  Anuj Rawats, Padikkals, saurabh chauhan and other nobodys

Many stadiums have gone through renovation. Can't they tear down the stands of Chinnaswamy, increase the boundaries by at least 10-15 m on all sides and build new stands?

I understand it is in the center of the city and has space constraints, but wondering if anything can be done at all?

If not, just construct a new stadium near Jakkur or somewhere and close down Chinnaswamy for good.

I think it is due to altitude. One thing they can try is providing turning pitch. They do that in Tests. But generally it breaks on day 5.  They can try adding more grass to the pitch and stack up the side with seamers. This pitch can be a good bouncy pitch. For some reason its true nature makes it very difficult to bowl on. But Chahal is going well under 8 over a period of 42 matches. So letting him go was a cardinal sin.

Kotla has even smaller boundaries and Eden too is more or less same sized ground as Chinnaswamy.

Need to change Pitch...  Import drop in Pitches from Australia.

B'luru only has help for spin these days...  Even leaving out grass didn't work.

RCB can still prepare pitches that assists their bowlers, create a team around it and make a fortress out of chinaswamy like Chepauk for CSK. But it wouldn't look good on Kohli's stats which is their bread and butter till now.
