Look ta tthe PDF document of each state. This has been the method for years. Nobody had issue. Suddenly  Trumpkins started crying "voter fraud" everyone is latching on to it.

Why are you dodging my question again, gungadeen - explain what this has to do with Indian elections, since India is america's big daddy in voterID. Not even Narendra Modi himself can vote if he loses his voter card 10 min before arriving at the voting booth.

 

Whether there is voter fraud present in american system is not the issue, the issue is, american system is easy to defraud and is an inferior system to most of the world when it comes to voting.

I shared an article where it says one guy went there to vote to find it was already marked lol Don't say it is a clcean election in India. Since it will drive you nuts let me share this

I'm going to be pedantic here.

 

All you need is your name on the electoral roll. Even if you do not have your voter card, you can show your Aadhar or a passbook issued by a public sector/ scheduled bank.

 

That said, our system is far more robust than the American one. Both in terms of sanctity of the vote/frauds and in terms of voting a member of the Lok Sabha (constituency) vs this electoral college system.

 

Also Bi-party democracy is just meh.

this has nothing to do with voterID. you said on voterID requirement stuff its conspiracy theory and it draws into question India's election integrity. Explain that, gungadeen. 

Trying to say 'there were allegations of voting irregularity' does not address the issue of how lack of voterID in murrica is gonna call into question Indian election integrity. So explain.

my father liteally couldnt vote coz he misplaced his voterID the day of voting. They said go home and bring voterID or no dice. he decided to go home and not come back. this is in kolkata btw.

 

ofcourse our system is better than american. American is the worst most inferior system of voting in the world - which is expected because america has the most out-dated and old voting procedures and laws in the world. Essentially American democracy is the ambassador car and ours is a Tata Sumo. 

Saying we are better than america in voting isnt a high bar. Even samoa and Sri lanka are higher up in voting standards than america. 

 

As a canadian i can attest that even canadian local mayor elections have higher voter integrity than american federal elections. America is dead last in voting integrity in the world unless you consider Syria as a democracy.

that isnt calling out hypocrisy if you cant justify your position. the answer on a public board is for everyone, if it was for coffee only, you'd use PM. 

So explain yourself how laughing at murrican inferior standards of no ID check is hypocrisy from our part.
