And with SCG Test starting right after, if we lose the toss and have to bowl first, we're done for. Never seen one player carry a team so much.

we are done for. it's pretty much guaranteed.

I recall Imran's performance in 1982. It was a great year for him, helped though by home umpires and ball tampering. If I recall correctly, though, he also did very well in Eng against a fairly good team

If you give a tampered ball to Bumrah..he will wreck havoc

30 wickets at 12.83 in four tests in a side that has been clear second best (excluding Perth).

Should easily be player of the series, but they’ll probably give it to T. F*** Head or golden boy Cummins.

it will probably go to bumrah. cummins is more a bowling AR, and his record has not been that spectacular

Man of the series normally goes to the player of the winning team , but for individual performance , no players from either side even comes close to Bumrah.

Nope, Chandra took 35 wkts overseas IIRC. India's GOAT matchwinning spinner overseas.

Chandra is at 3rd. 28 wickets in 5 tests in the same series

Bedi 31

Bumrah 30

Chandra 28

you're right. I was thinking of the 72-73 tour when Eng played within Ind. He got 35 wkts in 5 tests on fairly batting friendly pitches

That was Australia's  C team led by  Bobby Simpson  who came out of retirement , when most of the Australian players were playing Kerry Packers WSC, even then India lost the series.  Bumrah's performance against the full strength Australian team is at a different level, no comparison.
