Elite impact players have a rating of 40 per match .  Most teams had max. 3 such players .

India had 6 of these !  In order of rating

Hardik

Bumrah

Axar

Rohit

Arshdeep

Kuldeep

@Lord like I mentioned earlier, there is not much to separate Axar and Bumrah.  Only Hardik is rated higher.

The top 5 impactful batters have been Rohit, SKY, Pandya, Pant and Axar.

Basically,  Kohli, Dube and Jadeja have been the worst players in the Indian team by far.

Impact/ match ratings for the worst players

Kohli - 15.6

Siraj - 15.2

Shivam Dube - 12.1

Jadeja - 6.1 :hysterical:

Back in the days there was a guy named Anant on Cricinfo who used to crunch numbers and create lists using various parameters like the kind of opposition, kind of pitches, venues etc.

Indian fans in the comment section always used to fight with him because Sachin never used to top his lists.

Man of the match in the finals is all that matters.

Kohli is already the greatest Indian t20 batsman of all times and has won MOTT twice, it’s okay to fail once, he won the POTM in the finals, thats what matters.

If you have the aukaad than try to explain with stats who is a better all time Indiqn t20 batsman than Kohli otherwise it doesn’t matter.

Its the result of Kohli carrying us in two world t20 that he gets to become a champion when he flopped the most. Karma as they say, he won bcoz he deserved it and look at Gods plan he also made sure that Kohli wins POTM.

Hats off…

I didn't put that up. Cricinfo did.  The fact that you feel the need to defend your hero at all costs says a lot.

His record doesn't speak for itself.

His record is incomparable and you know that.

He had already done enough to be a T20 GOAT, just needed one cup and he gets it in style, that’s a fairytale ending.

If someone is using stats to show how he didn’t deserve it then bring the stats from 2014, 2016 and 2022 too.

No, nobody knows about his record being incomparable.

Why should stats from 5 years ago be relevant to his selection now?

Kuch bhi.

He was a great player in the past but an absolute match loser for a few years now.

Nothing wrong in pointing it out.

Only the blindest of fans will defend his performances in this World T20.

He was better than Dube and that's it.

Kohli fans be humble, you yourself know his innings brought India to the brink of defeat if not for the ever brilliant Bumrah and that paranormal catch by SKY

Guy has retired ,well done already

Nothing to say about him

Had a great career, one of the Indian greats no doubt about it

But was very ordinary since WC 2019,hurt his legacy

it was piss poor batting on a reasonable surface by him,he should have helped India post 190+

Being the main batsman he should have accelerated bit more to push the score

Same thing happened last year in India but today the difference was Axar in place of looser Kela

If not for Axar,we could have been below 150

Recovery was done by axar. Sorry when you don't hit a boundary for 12 overs in a T20 game, what the heck are you doing? Kohli didn't hit a boundary from 3.4 overs until 17.1. thankfully axar took risks every over and was able to execute. We would have struggled to reach 150 otherwise.
