India should heavily invest in Wrestling inclusing greko roman....we should have participants in all categories in world event and build the wresting team...

shouldn't they do this weigh in BEFORE the fight- what BC rules are these made up on the spot

Checked that he barely made it from R16, just managed 7-6. Looks like a spent force.

Ncaa wrestlers don't win in lower categories. 74 and 97 is where they have done well. Not in heavyweight or 86 either.

Indians are stubborn- like the federation must mandate equal importance on Greco and Freestyle. Indians only want to do freestyle because their legs can be used but Greco is only upper body

The biggest suprise came when India did not even qualify in 65 kg(bajrang category, although he lost in India trials)....

 

India is strong in 57, 65 in particular, very strong internal competition.

Yea just focus on wrestling. * boxing. Rigged refs. No point. 

 

Wrestling. Also women wrestling. Greco too. But greco is foreign concept for us. 

Invest in badminton t.tennis as well.

 

Weightlifting too. Invest in that. Hockey yes although hockey is rigged against us. Refs hate us.

Yeah Wrestling has such huge potential in India & that has so many categories to win medals.

Our federations are still stuck in the 80's.
