She wouldn't have won in 53. She any didn't qualify in 53.

We talked about this a couple of days back. Qualifiers were on the same day. She was competing in 53 kg qualifiers at 50kg body weight.

Some people are saying that she lost in 53-kg and then asked to enter 50kg as she had prepared for both weight  categories losing her weight,.

No. It's normal to take part in lower weight category to get strength advantage.

I missed thr word  can. I don't say it is usual. She took part in 53 category in world champion even won bronze twice. So she did take risk to take part in 50 kg category

She has to take the risk as she lost in the qualifiers for 53-kg category. She qualified only for 50-kg

Not really. Weight goes back up once they eat after weigh in. She maybe fighting in 50 but by the time her fight started, her weight would have gone back up after eating like it happened after her SF bout.

Both qualifiers were on the same day. she wanted them to be on different days. I am not sure why she tried for both instead of just concentrating on 53. Maybe she thought the 50 kg route was easier

But if she weighed in at 53, her weight would be higher by the bout time, so she was 3 kg behind

She tried both so that she could chose the best category for her. Otherwise don't know why would you try both when you can only take part in one. In US, they don't even let them take part in qualifiers in two categories.
