As a test batsman? He is class. As a coach. For me no. 

 

He is not inept. Maybe he is restricted cause of politics in the upper management. As we are already seeing with gambo and it is getting extremely frustrating. 

 

But the lack of development for pace bowling reserves and backing of some absolute mediocre players for no reason is what irks me and I csnt forgive him for that.

You were not a part of any team meeting, you know nothing about the selection process. You directly blame the coach and not even selectors.

Kohli is not even my favourite player, I defend him here because of the hate he gets , almost everything is blamed on him.

I became his fan when he stood tall against SA, Eng,Aus in 2018 on test tours to these countries.

 

I enjoy watching Pant in tests, Jaiswal is more talented than even Kohli and has that Prodigal touch about him so love to watch him play, I actually want him to open in Odis too with Rohit, Gill should be pushed to nunber 4.

 

Ishant Sharma of 2016-2020 is someone who I loved to watch, probably my favourite Indian fast bowler, I admired him even more than Bumrah. That 4 year span of Sharma is comparable to an ATG. We haven’t yet found a replacement for him and that’s the reason our bowling in SENA has gotten weaker.

 

 

Apart from our main bowlers Bumrah, Shami , Siraj I am hoping to see Kartik Tyagi more in internationals, he is the brightest prospect amongst his pacers, also looking forward to see the generation of bowling allrounders like Hangargekar and Bawa, hopefully they deliver what they promised.

 

 

Actually I am more excited about our bowling stock than the batting ones.

Coach and selectors. I blame both. Both are responsible.

I do defend him if there is unnecessary abuse. But the new kids abuse him, Dravid, his state, his dog, etc and I usually ignore such jucenile comments. But, his T20 form and role as opener was in fact worthy of criticism. We have better options now and don't think we have to go back to any of the three. But they extend  that abuse  to all formats.
