I think India in March/April also had some sorta peace deal with them. It has sorta curbed drug trafficking along Indo Myanmar border

Turks ruling India is solely based on them employing better fighting techniques and modern warfare and horse archers with fast moving infantry. Indians were caught napping. This is what Happened to Prithviraj in second battle of Tarain. He had 50-60k going by conservative historical figures against 10k + Horse archery contingent of Ghurids. Same story when Babur came up Lodhis then cannons were the clincher. Divide and rule tactics were successfully employed by British coz people were fed up with Indian monarchs. Was it beacuse they managed to defeat some king in some battle or , ruling a country which is not your people,your religion, your customs, meant employing some tactics to supplement the brute Power. Arakan Rebels is Buddhist one & other is Arakan Rohingya Rebel faction. The Buddhist one is more powerful and that has CCP connection. And made Peace Deal with India in March. There is another theory that this is a step in formation of Christian state in the area which has US blessing. We will have to see how this plays out.

Chinese in talks with Arakan Army Indian Position is a bit more complicated, I think its developing. Now, Confirmed news is that Chinese are sending their own Private Army into Myanmar to protect BRI. Probably Americans are hoping to make a Afghan War part 2.

We have to be mindful that Myanmar path into Indian ocean is only alternative patvh China has in event of direct blockade by US and allies(India is just a partner, Pakistan’s CPEC will stop if US blockade happens). Think India Russia China are on same page when it comes to Bangladesh
