On Eng's tour of Ind earlier this year, Root failed in the entire series. Yet Eng were on the driver's seat on so many occasions.  It was mostly the solid Ducket-Crawley opening stand which was working for them.  I think, with Crawley gone, they are finding it tough.

Bashir is such an overrated bowler.  Conceded almost 5 runs per over in the 2nd inning and went wicketless.  Compare that to Jayasuriya who looks so effective. (In both innings).

Chameera is injured.   Don't know about kumara.

They need one bowler who could swing the ball or bowl with some pace. Vishwa needs to do something.

He is a 20 year old, give him time, he has done very well so far in his career.

The sweep shot is a must for new Indian batsmen.Older guys like Kohli it is too late for them.

He can bat safely like MSD when needed. Low back lift, with bat very close to body he can construct a safe innings. Among the fab 4 he has the  game to come out of bad form faster.
