I see a scenario 50-60 years in the future where Pak has made peace with India on India's terms and Pak men/women work blue collar jobs in North India. That Pak-Ind border looking more and more like US-Mexico every year. If we are lax with our borders, it's more likely to turn into Israel palestinian situation than US Mexico. Mexicans are very hard workers who want a better future In Palestine there are families living for 75 years for generations after generations, who still call the place refugee camps. That's the same amount of time india had since independence. Yet they never consider themselves citizens or settled. They always believe they are refugee. They connect more with countries like Iran than their neighbours and will always conspire to eliminate you. They have no desire to better themselves and are happy as long as Jews are killed or inconvenienced. They are never happy with whatever concession Israel gives and will never be grateful. They are indoctrined into hatred from childhood. Such mentality cannot ever assimilate normally anywhere and will bite the hands which feeds them. WTC last place finish most likely. Last cycle (2021-23) they finished 7th despite favorable fixtures, 6th in 2019-21 cycle. Garbage in all formats. Brother, garbage is much better Gollum 1

Gollum Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Five or more Test hundreds in most calendar years 4 - Matthew Hayden (2001, 2002, 2003, 2005) 4 - Ricky Ponting (2002, 2003, 2005, 2006) 3 - Jacques Kallis (2004, 2007, 2010) 3 - Steven Smith (2014, 2015, 2017) 3 - Joe Root (2021, 2022, 2024)** Joe Root in Test Cricket 2013 to 2020 - 17 hundreds 2021 to 2024 - 18* hundreds
Austin 3:!6 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Root will get out trying to play this silly reverse sweep Stan AF 1
Tillu Posted October 9, 2024 Author Posted October 9, 2024 Root benefited a lot from ECB scheduling a lot of series with minnow teams during his peak. Bazball also helped in them not preparing seaming pitches anymore. Now they are playing a lot on pitches with little help for the bowlers. Gollum 1
Gollum Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Losing on this kind of pitch is the ultimate humiliation. For a home team, after posting 550 in 1st innings. Worse than blowout defeat. PCB has done everything it can to help Pak end its losing streak. I would back Zimbabwe to salvage a draw here. Tillu 1

English pitches in 2012-19 were incredibly tough for batters...those pitches were designed to maximize the returns of Broad-Anderson who took 1300+ test wickets between them. Similar with India and Ashwin-Jadeja. But I think in longer runs these things balance out. Edited October 9, 2024 by Gollum Tillu 1

Tillu Posted October 9, 2024 Author Posted October 9, 2024 919 runs for the loss of 13 wickets in this test till now. Don't have any trust in the ICC to sanction this pitch.
Manucrick Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 (edited) Pcb is scary pussy they scare to to lose that's why they creating this type of pitches even teams still able to beat dog sh*t pak team zero talent waste Indian players lost the opportunity to play cricket in Pakistan and the patta pitch Edited October 9, 2024 by Manucrick

Austin 3:!6 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 England has slowed down a lot. Have they dropped the Bazball approach? This is where Rohit Sharma's mindset in 2nd test against BD was so refreshing. He was looking for win from ball 1 where as Eng is playing for a draw.
