Apparently he owns a big stake in the company that is buying up lands from destitute farmers. It's not like the Dems have a good candidate.
ravishingravi Posted September 6, 2025 Author Posted September 6, 2025 If he can bully businessmen in his country, he can rip us for sure.
G_B_ Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Lets see if usa tips into a recession Tarriffs matter less if nobody is buying anything. American warehouses are packed with goods exported pre the deadline. Enough for 3 to 4 months.

If all of this break down in ties are solely from the fact India refuses to accept US terms with regards to the trade deal, then it is something we should wear it proudly like a battle scar. But we know from various reporting the fall out started because of India's refusal to credit trump & Modi's call, in the larger scheme of things tactically giving some credit to Trump & massaging Trumps ego if it might secure better material impact. Reports also suggest US trade negotiators have felt good about the Indian offer & taken it to Trump at least twice, would a Trump who didn't feel insulted have acted differently? we never know. And then there is the fact that our stance was directly impacting the Objectives of Op Sindhoor, which I believe is to send a message to Pakistan. Irking trump resulted in him often talking about Op in an unfavorable way for India, further emboldening Mulla Munir who might view it as two superpowers backing his misadventures. Not to forget how the MEA took the lead on Op Sindhoor briefing & was flunking on a daily basis until MOD took over. Japanese deal is bad, they are banking on a distracted trump, political headwind from the mid terms but what they have signed on paper is geopolitical jizya. MEA handled a bully perfectly, by ignoring Trump. How do you massage his ego when what he is asking for is clearly not in our best national interests vis-a-vis Pakistan. It will not stop at this , he idiot will start talking about Kashmir next . ravishingravi and bharathh 2

Even US Embassy in ND tweeted (probably through Rubio) about India-US good relations. This is an off-ramp for Trump on India. This US admin is all confused, the right hand doesn’t know what left hand is doing

IndianRenegade Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 If all these allies had little bit spine and stood their ground & coordinated between themselves they would have got a better deal & could have avoided such humiliation.
IndianRenegade Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 I don’t think Modi’s tweet was random or instinctive. There probably was lot of back channel. there have been reports of US lawmakers making visits to India getting some assurances on Russian oil. The. There is this report: India was positive that relations would turn for the better when one of India top national security planner visited US last month and met all the top officials of US intelligence and enforcement agencies. The message from US was that disagreement on trade was a just a hiccup and the bilateral relations will go on as usual. https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/pm-modi-and-president-trump-take-first-steps-to-patch-up-101757140955504.html
IndianRenegade Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Like I said, they are coming for you. Indian Americans need to stop being in the language groups & start prepping make coalitions. if Koreans are kosher, Indians are much lower down the pecking order.
