Why cant he be an option for Test cricket, not sure why the selectors select individuals in T20 basis their First class spoils.. It's been a habbit of selectors to pick the players in contrasting formats.

@nsareen change the title of the topic to "Anshul kamboj takes 10 in an innings in a first class match". Right now it looks as if Kamboj only took a 10-fer in the match, and not pick up al 10 wkts in an innings.

10/49 off 30 overs is some serious bowling and control. Rest of the bowlers conceded 0/242 and Kamboj took 10/49 at an ER of 1.6 an over! :hatsoff:

Bonafide Trundler. However he is supposed to be allrounder but have not been impressed with his batting either.

allrounder? hes glorified tailender, not even a 50 in 18 FC games

Yeah, looked at his stats and I wonder why he's termed as an all-rounder. His batting stats are pretty poor and he's a genuine tailender. But if he becomes an all-rounder and start contributing with the bat, could be a useful player for the team, i.e. someone who scores 30 odd coming in at 8 would be quite handy.

I was going by his categorization as an 'all-rounder'. If he becomes a genuine bowling all-rounder in the Deepak Chahar mould, there's use for him. But I'll still take him ahead of Avesh Khan.

Now the selection of Avesh Khan is a mystery to me and how he gets in despite being hammered everywhere is a genuine head-scratcher.

Hopefully Avesh has played his last game for India.

and yes unless the bowler is very reliable, he needs to have some batting ability.

Will also take him above Siraj at the moment.

Nothing special rt. now about him, run of the mill line and length kind of bowler.

But wont be surprised if picked for Ind in coming future. This kind of bowling is liked in Ind cricketing system.

Are they calling any1 and every1 allrounder these days ??? -- think this is some kind of pr going if they are not 140 kmph bowler start calling them allrounder .....

right now only rana is the pace bowler who can bat a bit and hit few 4/6s.

He's in the same mould as Sandeep Sharma with a bit of Bhuvi around him. If he can move the ball consistently would be a good option for us in PP overs or getting early wkts with the new ball. Can also act as a stock bowlers if he can maintain consistent line & length.
