the most useless test player over his captaincy period as a whole was mike brearley. but, it must be said that brearley, unlike fatman, was a fine captain.

babuma is quite solid, especially in the past few years. has been avg >40 in that period despite playing on horrible home pitches

Agree.  VadaPav is more like Dasun Shanaka (as Lankan captain).  Even Shanaka had the shame to resign/retire midway during the ODI WC. IIRC.    Vadapav is much worse.
