Thoughts on the debacle of NZ and Australia series

The funny thing is, even if we lose this game, we can still square the series in Sydney and retain the BG trophy. So let's wait at-least until the debacle is confirmed. That being said, the NZ series badly exposed weaknesses that have been evident for years, and getting rid of the dead weight is priority # 1 for the selectors. Enough with syrupy sentimental selections and farewells, it's high time to take swift action!

debacle is valid even if we end up with 2-2 in BGT. the reason is that the selections and strategies are very poor. we could have beaten this relatively weak Aus team - remember that WI drew 1-1 with them

A draw doesn't mean "sab changa si".

Problem ye bh hai ki hamare non performing seniors me Zara bh sharam nhi hai, they cannot see how unwanted they are in this side, everyone deepdown want them disappear from the side still they are persisting and giving shameless peptalks to other members of the team

Yes,this is selectors job to inform them clearly about their future in the team, but somewhere you have to connect with your conscience especially when you are in midst of terriblest of terrible form

But sharam hogi tab hoga na,ye sale bahut bade Wale besharam hai

They don't care about Indian cricket anymore bro...it's as simple as that.

Sabko bas apne stats aur sponsors ke liye khelna hai, broadcasters need then to sell the advertisement, BCCI need their face to show the carrot to fans...

Tbh...it's a habit ingrained by BCCI itself, start me sab selfless cricket khelte hai, but later they all become selfish because that's what sponsors want. Senior cricketers are like the WWE fighters, playing to the gallery.

Yeah 1-1 scoreline is a debacle. Lol

This test is already headed towards a draw.

No, it is not. there are 7 sessions remaining, and we are 150 runs behind. Don't know where you got this idea of yours from

Aane wale tym ye sab nhi chalne wala, cricket monopoly nhi rahegi already seen in our international home assignments and good that there will be no superstar this gen and onwards, infact world cricket has moved away from global cricket celebrities

Kohli was the last superstar and will be

Paindu Gill doesn't deserve to be and neither has the capability to be one, infact fans shouldn't bother to make one if they ever find one worthy
