I am not too sure Bumrah as captain for 5 matches unless he skips IPL.

 

Gill too raw, averaging mid 30’s, need to work on his batting 1st before captaincy.

 

KL also averaging in the 30’s so not captain for me.

 

Kohli is not the answer either.

 

Pant could be but I doubt he will be test captain. His form was also iffy in Australia.

 

Not sure whether missing any players, new young players should be started in tests at home.

 

Don’t shoot me for picking Rohit, I believe he will make a strong comeback in Tests unless he retires from Tests beforehand.

SPINNERS in england would not suceed. english will not want to shoot on their foot as our spinners are 4 times ahead of them.

i would prefer to take varun and Jaddu only...no need of washie and kuldeep. varun is turning balls any where and he has that 115k ball too, he is more than a spinner.

jaddu is a darter too, he could get some lbw. i will play varun in the test first and jaddu not required , if varun does not get wickets thenget jaddu in next test. varun is a 33 year old who is at the peak of his career and very confident of his craft- so chance of not suceeding are less.

Dhruv Jurel as only wicket keeper - no need of any one else as he keeps well and he bats well too. if rishabh is selected ,he is a compromise on keeping standards.

Many of England test players will be playing in County championships leading to this test series. Meanwhile India team will be playing IPL.Indian team will have to adapt to the change in conditions and format quickly.
