Not China entirely but US and CIA but they have a lot of dirt and moles on both sides. Policies will flip based on who is in power. Major powers and players in Indian Ocean and Oceania are US and China and India will play with whoever has the upper hand. Right now we are once again trying to woo American camp to gain the lost ground in DC. Last cycle US deep State was funding INC and it probably has dried up and they need new Avenues. Game is very strategic and complex. Edited April 30 by Lone Wolf

A&N islands are v strategic and India lucked out having it in 47. Biggest loser would be Singapore once it is materialized.

China USA, Singapore doesn’t matter who is against it, this project favors india development in that region and a lot of ships can refuel the competition to Malaysia and Singapore. You can imagine the opposition to it from outside india. He is the LOP, leader of. Ptapanch of india. All his positions are against india. Don’t go by his Pappu image. He is a dangerous politician for india. ravishingravi 1

India has multiple military bases in A&N for years now .. Campbell bay and Car Nicobar have always been heavily militarised since late 80's. Naval bases and runways exist already Edited May 3 by Lone Wolf

I don’t know what happened suddenly that Congress is opposing it. It’s Sonia writing. Erm ghost writing op –ed pieces.

Yeah INZ Baaz the naval base in the Campbell bay exists extremely closer to Malacca already. Transshipment port only causes some pain to Indonesia and especially Singapore. Currently operational port over there is mainly used for Indian Navy/ISR/coast guard ops. Not large enough for Commerical use.
jf1gp_1 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Was watching an old interview of himanta biswa sharma. What he said was shocking. He was meeting Rahul at his home, rahuls dog came and ate a biscuit from the plate place in front of Himanta, initially he thought Rahul will ask someone to clear the plate but later realized rahul expected him to take biscuit from the very same plate. I knew he had joined from Congress but did not know ( or maybe forgot) this incident. Rahul I am sure even today treats congress workers in same manner yet they still bow down to him. I finally realised how a handful of British were able to rule is for 200yrs by breaking us mentally. Congress needs a 1857.
