Yeah even American HIMARS system is useless to intercept MLRS barrage.

I wish we had 150 km range Indigenous MLRS in like 500+...  Pinaka units are too few and lesser range.

2028 is when we are supposed to induct pinaka 3 with 175-200km range.

We have Pechora as well.

For 150-250 km range...Prithvi & Sagarika will do the damage. Also heard that "Astra" production is also increased to combat.

^^^Correction we also have around 300+ units imported SMERCH MBRL.

It's neck to neck in MBRL capability I must say.

Pinaka being Indigenous can be produced on war footing as well.

Pakistanis are completely reliant on Chinese import

Russian SMERCH MBRL is in decent numbers.

I have zero doubts that this time - we will dominate the escalation ladder across the loc.

My only and only worry is that we might be walking into a trap and we would see a hot border with Chincoms. They are struggling with tarrifs big time, their economy is reeling ( dont believe the fake numbers they leak ) , they don’t like how manufacturing supply chains are gradually moving out of- so they have egged Pak to provoke.

we have to be extremely vigilant and prepared on the Northern / North Eastern  border as well.

It’s not too difficult to see how 2 rogue actors would gang up against India at this moment - when both are struggling.

BC I don't care As soon as first bullet drops...

Just ask Indian Navy to flatten entire Karachi and Sindh.  No mercy, no quarter must be given.

I would never do that - am sure there much more experienced heads planning out there.

Best strategy would be to totally decimate their ability to fight - by entirely crippling their airforce, navy - setting them back by 20-30 years - this along with squeezing them for water and by international diplomacy.

We have massively dense civilian areas near the border regions and want to be wise about how we conduct this. If they target those in retaliation - then there is zero mercy, they deserve to be smoked.

India too must be doing the same via BLA & TTP.

China wont go on direct war with India, it may provide the support to Kuki front.

China, despite all tensions has a strong export economy with India. With US giving them sanctions after sanctions, India is their next big market.

India is far more important player at this time...it can cripple the Chinese army even on a conventional fight. We may not be able to win against them, but we can push them 30-40 years back easily

Ballistic missiles do not offer the same shoot and scoot usability of mrls because any missile that is ballistic can be tracked from exact launch spot and it's trajectory calculated. That's cold war era tech too.

Mrls provide a untraceable shoot and scoot option, because these are low altitude dummy rockets ( fire and forget, no inertial tracking or anything) that cannot be tracked by satellites.

That's why mrls is such a big deal- else you'd stick to just regular artillery and short range ballistic missiles.

I think IAF vs PAF will be much longer drawn like always.  Half of our MKI and Rafale squadrons will be on our eastern LAC side.

Reports are that Navy fighters are also seen up north due to scarcity.

India will have to resort to missile warfare instantly.  Escalation ladder will go manifold up automatically.

There will be civilian casualties make no mistake.  We always knew that.

Every expert.knows that... Can't be avoided as Sushant Sareen and Gaurav Arya were saying.

I'd extensively use Indian naval assets to destroy Karach and Sindh including civilian areas and keep PAF tied up in the North by IAF.

Karachi and Sindh would be literally defenseless

Also MLRS are cheaper.  Pinaka rockets cost peanuts compared to guided Small range missiles.

I think we have Prahaar and Pralay in decent numbers+ older Brahmos variant.

Use Brahmos to destroy high value military installations while Prahar and Pralay being cheaper can be used to destroy Lahore and Sialkot.

Jammu Amritsar Pathankot Ferozepur and NCR areas would be under direct line of Fire of Fateh 2 on the other side.

For 0.5 Front and 5th columnists - their ability to spread fake news and false propaganda to be entirely curtailed ala 1971
