Srikkanth makes an excellent point on how critical Sundar's aggressive 2nd inning knock was for India's Oval win.

I liked some of the information like how Kanitkar brought him into Rising pune giants based on Deodar trophy. I never knew about Kanitkar's role.  Actually that was his turning point. Also Ashwin's injury helped him.  His dad has definitely toughened  him up mentally. He touched on that many times in this conversation.  Also his point about Steve smith. Most importantly his point about how Rahane's quick fire 21  sent the message to the rest of team members "We are going for it" was interesting to hear. Basically nobody talked about whether they go after draw or win. Rahane just led the way without telling them. Impressive to listen to that bit.

Have to appreciate Srikanth for choosing the most obvious name possible for his YT channel. Wasted absolutely no effort or energy

Yeah, but man, the guy is insufferably chatty. I am a huge fan of his batting, but I wouldn't be able to have a conversation with him for more than 5 min. It was amusing to see him go off topic multiple times and his son had to keep corralling the conversation back on track.

Also he goes overboard in criticism. When Gill did well in England, Cheeka's old clip of him bashing Gill propped up.

You should look at him as an average cricket fan not as a former cricketer. He says what comes to his mind. More refined than Sehwag. If you listen to the conversation both father and son contrast each other on many things except KL Rahul. For some reason both love Kela in all formats.

He just speaks in exaggerated tones always. Semma this. Dhool that. Damaal this and Soooppper that. More an entertainer than analyst.
