Vedant is classy touch player.  Vihan too. Matre while attacking very loose. He and caibhav wanted to finish the chat soon. Vedant wwithout taking risks looked good.

Mhatre would be another Priyam Garg in the end.   Decent player but not outlandish.

I hope he has that fire that Yash Dhull has and focuses on long form cricket and works on his technique.

Suryavanshi needs a lot of work himself.  Sanga is back with RR and he is excellent in tutoring young left handers.

Hoping he fixes his off side play and footwork.

Vaibhav is better. First innings he was not out when he eas looking good. He was given out. He is like sehwag. Occasionally you will see first ball dismissal. Ayush is technically loose.  He plays on the up a lot, away from the body. This all comes down to cricket academy they hail from. Vedant  looks impressive. Bat hardly leaves his body. Within the imaginary box as ABDV would say he plays. So no lt many loose shots.

They are just 19 yo, need and will take time to understand their game. they have time to fix and iron out issues.

Mhatre played well in sc conditions, eng was off in Aus which is okay , can fix it he was playing uppish on the rising ball either he needs to clear inner circle or need to develop those back-foot punches.

All guys are good. Some have temperament issues..some have  technique issues.

Hope this team pace attack doesn't go wasted like 2018 batch was:((

yeah.

batsmen are coming through but we have loads. pace bowlers are needed especially all rounders and those who can bat a bit.

We have a very good base in them..who can develop into very good players in coming years..the path amd pace varies individual by individual..as everyone is different..

Ind top-order batting specially white-ball and t20s is now at v.different level.

Its at a point Jaiwal kind of batter is not making into the team. Ruturaj was seen as stop-gap but now the point has come where even csk is not lobbing for him anymore.

These new batter have to bring something v.special.

I just learnt Deepesh Devendran is son of former TN cricketer vasudevan devendran.. he took 8 for 61 in the first test where India routed Australia. He is really aggressive. Hope his father doesn't let his talent go to waste. Playing for some league team madurai panthers
