Which tournament was better - 2025 CT or 2025 Asia Cup?

Folks, which tournament did you enjoy more?

 

1. 2025 Champions Trophy where we made Pak play their "home" game in UAE, hammered them, moved the SF and Finals in UAE and won the whole tourney by remaining unbeaten.

 

2. 2025 Asia Cup where we humiliated Pak 3 Sundays in a row, made them our bi@tches and found new ways to kick their @sses. In fact have never seen any team hammering another team thrice in a single tourney the way India did with Pakistan.

 

Can't really decide. I thought 2025 CT was hilarious but this epic ownage of Pakistan has me on the fence. Different ways to humiliate them on and off the field.

Didn't watch much of this so CT.

Tough to single out.  Both hv been incredible wins.  Different formats.  (Same venue).  Both were chased under pressure.  Always gives a special feeling to beat the Kiwis in an ICC tournament Final.  While beating arch rival (atleast on paper) after being reduced to 20/3 would be remembered as a special win too.

Asia Cup is garbage. 

 

CT 2025 is special because we beat NZ twice including in final, 2000 Nairobi avenged. Also SF win against Aus even though they fielded a depleted XI.

Yes even a depleted Aus is better than all the teams we played in this cup

Even if depleted Aus is weaker than these other Asian teams, their elite winning mentality makes them very tough to beat in KOs. India had to play a perfect game that day to knock them out, Kohli played his best ODI knock in many years ably supported by clutch Iyer, Pandya, KL.....even that wouldn't have been enough if not for Iyer's direct hit run out of Carey, one of the best fielding efforts by an Indian I can recall in a big game.

What was the benefit in having an unbeaten streak in Asia cup and smashing minnows thrice.l and other teams as well. This Asia cup win is pointeless and India should send B Team next time. India should play the A team only against Australia, England, South Africa and New Zealand and in T20i cup. Do not play your best teams against minnows. Even B Team would have won this. T20i bilaterals shoukd be scheduled aginst proper quality teams obmy, playiing minnows will spoil game of our players.

Asia cup is a low quality tournament. LOcal premiere leagues are much better.
