Women's world Cup - WODI 2025

So we lost all our matches closely even against Aus and look at how Aus just demolishes other teams especially SENA teams.We should have won atleast 2 more matches. This choker SA is 81-7  For once i want Aus to lose the fuking toss and we should chase or score 380 batting first. I don't think any other team can beat Aus. Period

Alana King was hammered by India in that previous game. 50 odd runs in 6 overs. If not for that freak innings by Healy,we would have won that game comfortably

Best revenge for Nov 19 will be beating these Aussie beasts in the SF. One of the most dominant WC runs, by probably the most dominant white ball team (across genders) of all time....if our women are the ones to end it, mazaa aa jayega. Nothing to lose for us, everything to lose for Aussies, hope we play fearlessly that day and take the fight to them.

Isa Guha from England, their premier fast bowler and a neuroscience graduate from UCL.

Considering the declining white population, increasing Indian population and greater interest of Indians in cricket (compared to whites who have AFL, rugby, football etc) expect to see these teams get more brown (along with Pooks too). These teams might be half brown half white in 30-35 years.

Want to see Indians in those countries also shine in footy (Aussie Rules), rugby, hockey, football, tennis. Maybe even boxing/MMA and Olympic events like swimming, diving and athletics. We once had Mohini Bhardwaj winning gymnastics bronze for USA (2004 I think) and a British diver (a Marwari kid) narrowly missed a medal in Olympics or World Championship, don't remember. 

 

East Asian origin people have already made big waves in the more popular sports/leagues like tennis, boxing, MMA, NBA, MLB, NFL, AFL.

In fact best Asian MLB players are native Japanese and best Asian NBA player was native Chinese.

They are making inroads even in tennis where India historically was much better (3 Davis Cup finals, Amritraj, Krishnans). Also there is hockey, where we should start making teams in some of the powerhouses. Golf is another one, where East Asians are surging ahead, especially their ladies. India has great wrestling culture, but no representation....even in US HS levels, zero Indian representation while East Asians do very well.
