Ind A vs Aus A/Ind vs Aus team discussion

Considering the white ball tour of Australia is squeezed in between the test series vs WI and SA, don't think any of the test players are making it.

 

I have seen that Arshdeep, Rana, Tilak and Abhishek have been put in the Ind A team vs Aus A for the last two ODIs so points towards that.

 

We can discuss the possible team combinations as well as the two Ind A matches here.

Judging by the lineup played, my hunch is correct.

Would like to see they try out Gurnoor Brar in ODIs in Australia.  Agarkar should keep an eye out for him.  And he can slog as well 

 

 Bumrah will be rested.

I sense Arshdeep will be there.

 

Jaiswal may get to play ODIs as a stopgap and to keep fans in check.

 

Abhishek and Gill will continue to play T20Is.

 

Abhishek will be the third opener in ODIs.

 

God I don't want to see Rohit back as it serves no purpose but Cricket Australia will Market the series as one last Dance of RoKo in Australia

Why was Priyansh dropped for this match?  Very random. Also, Simarjeet should have been there for the whole series.

Because they want to give Abhishek (and Tilak, Harshit, Arshdeep) a chance as they will prolly play the Aus series.

India in trouble long time left for him to make a mark.

Potential seam bowling A/R option.

 

Tilak is in great form... Looks like.   We should ideally move on from Chokli.  Give this guy a run in ODIs.

Good bowler. Can also bat a bit. Just unlucky that Varun C and Kuldeep are there.

 

Should keep working on his game. Will get a chance in a few years.

 

Since Kuldeep is in the test team, he will get lots of white ball opportunities.

I have my reservations about Tilak in ODI 

 

Not watched today of course but from looking at it, he doesn't seem to be able to accumulate briskly, and may be gets bogged down between trying or going for big shots
