Baksh de bhai. Our T20 team started looking good after such a long time and you want to bring it back to the dark days? Already we've Gill taking us backwards in T20 and with Kohli in, we'll be back to the old days :((

Matlab agar career extend karna hi hai with minimal involvement to T20 best hai. Waise won't happen

Extend career for what? Lost us multiple tourneys by going missing in knockouts and Finals. Finally we're getting a young core (except Gill - not sold on him as he goes missing in tough situations) and adding a 38 year old will destroy all that progress.

It should be Jaiswal, Sai, Tilak, Rinku, Parag who should be in the setup and here we've two almost 40 year old retirees taking prime spots :((

This series does not mean much - his form before WC 2027 will decide his team spot.

I am not saying I want so and so to happen - but the IPL in 2026 will influence selections more than this series for example.

You can't turn up just like that in Australia after 4 months of no cricket. This is going to be the biggest challenge for Ro and Ko. Guys like Smith, Mama and Root still have the drive and mindset to play domestics, in fact Smith was playing grade cricket in Sydney 2 years back. These guys think playing for India A is beneath them, with that sort of mindset more pain and humiliation in store, can't disrespect the game and get away scot free.

Aussies are smart. They'll allow him to score next match so his career continues :((

This is the crux of the issue, but the selectors are turning a blind eye to it. They should make participation in domestic cricket a prerequisite for selection to the National team. Either the seniors participate, prove their form and get in or stay out of contention if they fail to.

This is what makes Jadeja so great. Has achieved everything, bonafide ATG, but never takes anything for granted, always puts in hard yards.

Was made fun of in his younger years (and even now) but he has proved everyone wrong just through hard work, humility and determination. No ego issue ki despite being top ranked player, he is playing these lesser guys without any crowd or spotlight.

May not be the most talented or charismatic/watchable player, but he surely is the most inspirational. Ro and Ko should learn from this man.

I hated him at first (due to white ball stuff) but he is now becoming one of my most favorite players of all time. Hope he wins another MOTS against the world champions.

He won't last till 2027 if his form continues like this.

Gambhir has a lot of fault but tolerating non performing oldies is not one of them.
