If we win 3 out of 4 tests in SL and NZ next year we are back in it. BGT may then decide who gets to face RSA in the final.

Aus has 3 tough fixtures coming up after this, away series in RSA, Ind and home series vs NZ and I genuinely believe NZ will land some punches this time, may not win but will cost Aus vital WTC points.

Yeah basically a 2-0 in SL and a 1-1 in NZ is what we need to potentially set up a final showdown in BGT.

Need Kiwis to win not more than 1 test in Aus and lose heavily in Eng and Pak.

Hope Lord Bavuma blanks both Aus and Eng 3-0.

2-0 on the low bounce, spin friendly graveyards of SL? Maybe if we get lucky with the toss and bat first in both games. Our batters will fail to chase down even 99 on those deadly pitches!

The way we're playing these days I'm scared SL may actually win their first ever Test in India. That would be another humiliation after being white-washed by NZ at home and losing 5 consecutive Tests at home within a year (3 to NZ, 2 to SA).

Galle and Colombo are high scoring venues. Depends on the curator but Sri Lankan pitches have a lot of 600+ first innings totals. Root has a double there, Sangakkara and Jayawardane had a 600 run partnership.

Not sure about your deadly pitches comment. When they are flat, records tumble

More all rounders will be included as a response.

Cam Green is such a rubbish bowler. I think Dube has a better action than him.  Release speed is fooling us. His wrist clock speed is mere 45. There is no oomph in his deliveries. He just puts the ball.

Webster seems better

Root has made amends for his record in Aus now, complete batsman. No signs of slowing down.

this is a rubbish attack without Cummins,Hazelwood,Lyon though
