Surprised they dropped Neser for Boland. Did well last game and can bat a bit too

Boland is a robot. That is an advantage lol He can bowl all day exactly at the same place.

The reason Eng won few odd tests in 90s/early 00s Ashes was because Aus would take their foot off the pedal after winning the series. All those victories by Eng would be dead rubbers, with Aus missing some of their top players.

In WTC era, every test result counts. So don't think Poms are winning a test in Aus any time soon.

That can become predictable too on a flat wicket.

He can't bowl a yorker or a bouncer to surprise batsmen

His greatest strength is that nibble. England was a bit lucky against him.  Especially with Carey upto stumps he can pick a wicket or two on the trot.

I won't say it is a peach on this wicket. This was expected to happen with Stokes who is too much of a backfoot player against spin. He was stuck on crease.

Got Duckett with similar one first innings.

Stokes's front foot game is like he takes 1 inch forward lol That is his frontfoot game against spin. He got bamboozled by Ashwin like this many times.

Yes he was caught on the crease there.
