Has anyone used samsung Z fold 7 or any foldable samsung phone?

There is a sale going on 1071$  512 GB employee discount. I am always skeptical about foldable phones.

My husband uses the z Fold 6. Think he got it last year. He swears by it. One of the few people to become an android user after years of IPhone usage.

 

If you require the use of a stylus in day to day functioning of the phone, it is a good (albeit expensive) phone.

By the way they took away stylus from this model. Only 6 has it.

I have had few interactions with folks who are using Zfold...not 7 though but maybe 5.

 

Based on the design POV, Samsung this year has done some noticeable improvements. Phone has gotten thinner, the front screen is a lot usable and 80% of the time you dont even need to open the screen.

 

Battery though is only 4400mAH....and this is a problem..specially if you're using bigger screen a lot. 

 

I used S23 and it has a smaller screen but 3900mAH battery...2.5 yrs have gone by and battery doesnt last even a day with moderate usage.

I have another employee deal for S25 ultra +  , bud 3 pro ear set. 781 including tax. some, got it for 740 including tax with some additional discount. I am keeping in cart.  I am not sure if it is  a massive upgrade

s24FE -> s25 ultra

 

FE models are in general inferior than its number series.

F24FE is a good phone.. but S25 ultra overall is an upgrade over it no doubt.

 

Its like you have Gillespie in the bowling attack...but you would upgrade to McGrath if needed.

 

Though if you aren't a heavy user and just need the phone for work purposes..then S24FE will hold its fort for atleast next 2 years...

PUlled the trigger finally as my dad is looking for a phone. Will give FE to him.  I paid only 380$ for s24 FE.  Used for more than an year.

I have paid only for one phone in my entire life. $200 of a Pixel 7a a few years ago - still have it - cracked screen and all. Until then, whatever free phone came with the carrier is what I got.

I am like that mostly. Until i damage it i use it. I am going on vacation next year. If i buy a phone at that time that would be twice the price. So i bought it now so that i can give my FE to my father who is using an ancient phone.

That's so me. My brother had to gift me an iPhone coz I would never buy myself

Used a blackberry ages back for a good three years (before the Android boom). 

 

That was probably the most user-friendly phone I've used.

That's because you're comparing the wrong gen, S24 FE is in fact the closest non flagship phone in their entire (current) lineup with an under clocked Exynos 2400 -

The only thing where regular S24 lineup is clearly superior would be the display & cameras.

I use OnePlus Open. It's been good. The hardware is awesome, better than Samsung Fold 6 (which I was considering at that time). There are minor software issues occasionally, but overall, it's good. Also comes with 1TB storage as standard. The camera quality is slightly inferior to Samsung though
