Pak didn't go for the semi spot and tried for a consolation win. At the end, lost badly. :phehe:

Pak batting relies to much on Minhas, do not have any batter apart from him. Team is more set-up to win if bowlers perform.

250 was too much to chase in 50 overs let alone doing it under 34 overs.

Tyagi looked several times threatening than this guy,he is not even Sushant Mishra level who was bulldozing opponents that WC even playing as second fiddle to Tyagi

And Tyagi was hyped by everyone and rightly so.

But Raza's performance against that beastly U19 Aussie said was straight from the top draw one can't deny.  Guy has IT factor, he may not sustain this under Pookistani system and culture but from purely age group cricket level he is good

There was no chasing that 250+ under 33 overs in Bulawayo which has been tough to bat the entire tournament.

Hilarious thing is they failed to achieve neither.  India U19 had their sweet revenge for that final loss and knocked them out.

Yeah he has slowed a fraction post the injury,  he was more quick in that Asia Cup as well than here.

Good day for India U-19, sealed semifinal spot quite easily at the end.

Suryavanshi still has to win one of the match outright though and hope it happens in semis or final.

Vedant played an innings like Baba Aparajith played long back in a very tense chase agianst pakistan

I still have regrets thinking about Baba. He was one of the best batters in junior level. Rahane Pujara replacement for sure. Lost his way. Had a great defence and played spin pace equally well

Being the best batter in the side makes him play reckless cricket. If he completely avoids bouncer directed at his shoulder he will be way more consistent. He lets his ego control him. He tries to take him on. Most of the time he is not entirely in control.

We won that game iirc by 2 wickets they had one Zia ul Haq who was causing problems

yes tricky surface. Last season captain Uday Saharan played this collapse handler role.  This time that role is for Vedant and Vihan. But VIhan is very weak against spin.  Vedant is top player against spin with feet movement. .

His twin brother, Baba Indrajith, could be picked for the Test team to bat at number 3

Afg U19 is a good team. Will not be easy to beat them.

Harare is a much better batting track than Bulawayo.  Our batters will take a sigh of relief with change of venue finally
