Gollum Posted May 17 Posted May 17 (edited) Very boring year for Indian cricket. Just 5 tests (4 of them in SL, NZ will see 2-3 day finishes), lots of T20Is without context. ODIs mein our squad is so boring. 2027 Jan-Mar mein BGT, long wait. 2024 Eng type pitches maangta. Hope we pick an exciting squad for Asian Games at least. Lot of pain in store, NZ comfortably won both test and ODI series in India recently. High profile assignments this season are next month's tour to Eng, SL tour (Aug), NZ tour and home BGT (5 tests) early next year. Rest is filler. 2 tests in SL which I think is going to be a steep challenge for this team. Based on how we played against RSA last year, have to say the Lankans will start as favorites if they prepare turners. Edited June 2 by Gollum

Their season usually doesn't start this early. Maybe they don't want their players playing in SA20 instead. I agree we need to play more ODIs to give players some experience ahead of the World Cup test fan 1

Jaiswal Jurel Sai Paddi and young spinners are expected to be part of those games maybe even Gill who knows. 1st test is definitely happening in Galle as usual which will be toughest test and trial by spin. India didnt play white ball leg during last Test tour of England... and ECB desperately needs to make cash and regardless all 8white ball matches will be packed houses this summer. We need to develop players for the ODI World Cup. As long as the World Cu exists, we need bilateral ODIs.

After the IPL another 15 odi( 4-6 in Asia cup ) leading upto world cup . So king have chance to Play 45-50 odi untill he retired from international cricket. How many centuries he will score?
