The match was already over by that time and probably why he was switched off. On captaincy front I liked the way he led Gujarat to their first IPL win and the way he led from the front. I actually wanted him or Iyer to be the captain of the LOI side as he's a natural leader. Now I would prefer Iyer to be the LOI captain based on his track record and also partly due to Pandya being injury prone and his workload to be managed but I would still want Pandya to be the vice-captain. To me instead of handing over the captaincy to SKY they should've gone with Iyer or Pandya as they deserve their spot in the team and are leaders with track records.

Also even from Indian stand point we won a trophy after 10 years (after finally dropping kela) It wa slike whole world was against him. Now he is in much better space in his life.
