DC have 4 openers :-- KL, Nisanka, Duckett, Shaw. Think they should open with Shail and because they have Stubbs and Miller so KL will open.

DC need to get rid of KL Rahul to actually bring in some momentum.
They've a strong side, not table toppers, but potentially a top4 team. If they can get rid of KL and move Nitish at the top, then their XI can be

Porel
Nitish
Stubbs
Miller
Rizvi
Axar
Ashutosh
Aaqib
Starc
Ngidi
Kuldeep
Impact - Vipraj

Miller at 4 and Stubbs at 3 will give them more time. Nitish is a seasoned cricketer and will do his job, Porel can be like Saha who can maximize the pp. Aaqib and Starc can give them batting depth till 9.
Bowling wise Vipraj, KUldeep, Axar is a decentish spin combo. Starc, Aaqib and Ngidi will be the 3 pacers where Aaqib can potentially bowl all 3 or 4 overs with the new ball.

DC home ground is a smallish one and their batting line-up is not equipped to take advantage of it.

Kela should be in impact sub alternatives

KL Rahul

Pathum Nissanka

Nitish Rana

Tristaan Stubbs

Axar Patel

David Miller

Ashutosh Sharma

Vipraj Nigam

Lungi Ngidi

Kuldeep Yadav

Auqib Nabi

Good and realistic team. Nabi though can bat above Ngidi...he is capable batter .

I would probably move Miller above Axar.

KL as keeper ia a risk though, does Nissanka keeps ?

Nissanka not a keeper I think he is a pure batter

Indeed, expecting David Miller to bat ahead of Axar Patel in case DC  have got good total after having lost 2 wickets. Axar might come ahead if the top order collapses in power play. David Millers battign position will be situational imo.

Pathum Nissanka  is not a wicket keeper.  Abishek Porel is keeping option but KL prefers to keep rather than field in outfield as he did for RCB, PBKS. Tristaan Stubbs is also a backup keeper.

DC brings down the quality of ipl. Those GMR and Jindal folks suck at running this team.. wonder how these next gen kids run their vast biz empires

What a pathetic Team management.  Abhsihek porel batting at 7. 18 year old with zero experience is facing new ball  against Bhuvi and Hazlewood.  In a match or two they used Karun nair instead of Asuothosh.  Axar is coming up against pace.  They always find a way to lose the match in various ways. I think this is one season multiple teams botched at the auction.

Kela is going nowhere; he has reached the "seniority" level, plus gained some sort of "celebrity" status...after marrying in to shetty family

Why didnt KL took the strike and let debutant Parakh take the 1st ball ?? KL is Ind test opener and yet not taking 1st ball .....

Even he made Pathum Nissanka take strike after he got out in first few innings. Apparentlyhe  lacks confidence to face first ball.

Still dont get kela. When you have good hitting range why tuk tuk and drag it in to stumps or be a fisherman like

He doesnt have confidence in himself.

Such players will do well once they have lost all hopes of making a comeback, as then they play fearlessly.
