Every team, every coach, every Indian commentators prefers medium height, medium pace bowlers who bowls at the pace of 100 to 130 kmph.

 

Yesterday Bhubaneswar, Unadkat,Avesh, Reddy,Dube,Kambhoj, Sandip were bowling.

 

If the medium pacers goes for runs , Indian commentators never talks about it ,but if young fast bowlers ie Tyagi, Ashok goes for runs they are told to stick to line and length.

 

Indian commentators talks about pace of foreign bowlers ie Archer, Burger, etc but never acknowledge speeds of Karthik, Ashok,Sen etc. 

 

Inspite of having young express bowlers in the squad,35 +medium pacers are preferred inspite of non performance

Trundlers are like the Raja Babu of fast bowlers, oily sticky hair and bowtie. BCCI and coaches think of them as obedient.

 

Fast bowlers are deemed as brash, lafanga kids in Indjan Cricket. Those who dont listen tl anyone and do what theh feel is right.

 

People like individuals who can be tamed.

Its even bad in domestics, they discourage even high 130s kmph bowlers. As soon as bowlers put any effort they start shouting. And even in red-ball too.

 

Think the faster bowlers should just randomly bowl few slower-one just for sake of it , so these kind of comments does not come-up. Anyways most of these commentators repeat same lines , so bowling slower-one here and there can keep them off of bowler back may be they will say that look slower ball dint go or 4/6 or the bowler got wkt because of slower-one.

Domestic & IPL are cursed with trundlers. But Gambhir has atleast discarded them from internationals. Thats a big positive. Remember Unadkat, Avesh and Mukesh making merry under Dravid regime.
