I would prefer a Bodyline type of series based on the 2020-21 BGT series. That was one of the best sports underdog series full of drama and would translate well to a series. They made a Prime series on that but it didn't do justice and didn't dive deep behind the scenes. I would love to see a 12 part series on that BGT Test series.

Exactly, yahi strategy hai.

To whitewash the animosity and spread the propaganda to both Indian and Pakistani population and earn money.

 

Pakistanis are anyway clear in their mindset...even Hindu is an enemy for them and their existence. Its the Indian people who salivate on the prospect of a "what if" and form an India-Pakistanistan combined XI. While in reality all that cursed, stinky, pile of goo has produced is match fixers and ball temperers. Strip Javed Mianded out of Pak umpires and he will be no better than Asad Shafiq or Salman Butt.

Yeah, very similar to the movie Gold following partition and India's first Hockey gold medal post independence. Very similar storyline, narratives and plot lines. Should focus on 2020-21 BGT as that's one story which hasn't been told enough.

 

Look at British. They talk about 1981 Ashes and Headingley Tests with names like "Botham's Ashes" and here we haven't even given enough credit to a much bigger storyline. Just checkout the key points which are mind-boggling... only 2 players played in the final Test from those who played the series opener, the final Test had combined bowling lineup with a grand total of 3 wkts with T20 net bowlers being pushed into the team, Covid at its peak which brought its own unique challenges, racist incident at Sydney targeting Siraj, India being dismissed for 36 in the series opener with their captain running away after the match, an injured batter and Ashwin batting out nearly half a day to draw Sydney Test, Thakur and Sundar piling on runs from lower order in their Test debut, Aussies unbeaten at Gabba for 40+ years etc. 1981 series, or any other series doesn't compare to all of the challenges India faced in 2020-21 and yet we don't talk about it.

 

If Eng had won that series with those challenges, they would've knighted the whole team and made Pant heir to the throne, and likes of Vaughan, Nasser Hussain, Atherton wouldn't have shut up talking about it even now.

Not required. Instead make a movie on Natwest series or 2007 T20 WC or 2011 WC (focus on Yuvraj since Dhoni's version is already made as a movie)

Isnt that why they are a failed nation? While India who never had that mentality, is not?

 

I really dont get you guys. On one hand you acknowledge that they are a failed nation in every way

 

On the other hand, you want India to follow them and become a carbon copy of them and their thinking. The same narrow mindness and hatred which made them a failed nation.

 

Isnt the whole point that we shouldnt be like them and think like them?
