On such pitches if you are hit for a few runs or a partnership develops, very easy for quicks to panic, and try extra hard which can backfire.

We often lose our nerve on such pitches against NZ, very fidgety both our batsmen and bowler. I want us to try a different approach for once, to be uber confident against them and treat them with contempt. We give them way too much respect. The moment we stopped doing that in ICC white ball events, the tide turned.

You have to be uber aggressive against Kiwis with the bat and also with the ball.

Only this way they get intimidated and more often than not they lack plan B

Nah with this much in the pitch they'll find a way it's how they get wickets in Ranji too.

Robinson is the sort who bowls early 120s as spell gets longer and gets spanked if there is nothing in the pitch, Bumrah and shami were hitting him for 6s in 2021.

Bumrah and Shami have been rabbits in the past against even worse bowlers especially Bumrah who is back to being chris martin these days.

I am already seeing some different variations from Robinson with the seam this time around ofc.

Our Trundlers just don't hit the seam enough as I have seen in domestic cricket.  That Anshul Kamboj also doesn't hits the seam and his balls barely have any backspin as well.

Must admit, this is nice viewing as long as India isn't at the receiving end.

Kiwis deserve their share of treacherous pitches for the **** they pull against some teams in their backyard.

Robinson is just an ordinary County trundler. You're overrating him. He is of no use outside English conditions it's why they invested so much in other options.

These kind of pitches may backfire against Pooks, brings their trundlers into play. Hope to see batting beauties then, Poms are anyway masters are burying Pooks under scorecard pressure, Brook is the master of their qaum on pattas.

What happened in test finals then?

We didn't use it well. Nzl batted without breaks and Ashwin outbowled all our fast bowlers. Ishant and Bumrah were disappointing.

He has avg of 21 and has won England series in Pakistan and has 25 avg in Australia. How many Indian bowlers have those figures.

Robinson is a 78 mph bowler. This is why people should stop under-estimating guys like Aquib Nabi. In these conditions they are far more potent than hit the deck Indian bowlers.

Did you watch him bowl in Pakistan?? He was one of the chief architect of that 3-0 whitewash.  He was bowling around 84-85mph and man always had tricks when it comes to seam

It was only coz of injury when he lost more pace and disciplinary issues he got sidelined.

BaZ and Stokes made him scapegoat for Ranchi defeat publicly

India stopped having out and out swing bowlers. India moved towards hit the deck seamers with a bit of seam movement. If you have conditions like you have to deceive batsmen in the air.

Indian bowlers failed to defend 380 for series win In England, two 225 plus fourth inning totals in SA to win series there.

They stink under pressure.

NZ so disappointing man. This was such a big opportunity to go 1-0 up. They often face such conditions back home, just not good enough today.

Kane mama, zindagi mein kabhi toh run maar jab tere team ko uski sakht zaroorat ho? Aur kitne din fizool ka statpadding karega re tu? Average of 55, returns of a #11 when conditions are tough.

WHy is Stokes not bowling. He can make the ball talk. He was the one who extracted the most swing from both teams in the  Anderson/Tendulkar series
