Others will play ahead of him probably.

Though not a bright idea to select Prasidh for T20I.. not his format by any means.

Will prefer Prince over him.

Samson can be back for T20Is vs England.

This series should be used for grooming rookies.

NKR and Axar are our likely 7 and 8 in WC 27.

Need to give them as much game time as possible in these roles.

Dube can be rested. But Samson is top 3 as you said.

Samson at 3 means Vice Kaptaan Tilak at 6 .. and then our lower order may lack firepower.

Basically, as we have to incorporate both Shreyas and Tilak, as they are C and VC,   team composition will be messed up if we want all 3 of Sooryavanshi, Abhishek, Samson.

What is the solution ?

Sooryavanshi instead of Abhishek. Left hander high strike rate players being changed like for like ?? Samson opens.

Think sundar should play each and every game where ever he want to bat and when ever he want to bowl. or what ever tm and captains looking for.

Not really sure why he keeps making in to all the formats , what is his utility, he is nt a top 6 batter in any format he does not have power game to 6/7/8  in white-ball.

Specialist off-spin is obsolete skill-set in white-ball already, Aus played a series in Pak with short and Renshaw bowling off-spin

Do not think he is skillful bowler to be regular in test.

Fielding is kind of poor

Jaiswal was all set ot rule all formats 2 yeras back. They have turned into single format guy like Pujara.

100% sure the when the babu Rohit leaves on his own terms, Jaiswal will come in. Max 1.5 years from now

Same with Virat. Another guy comes in.

GIll will come down to No.3 or Jaiswal plays no.3

This means Sooryavanshi can open ( he anyways will). its not up to selectors. He is box office.

Guy was good enough to play 2023 world cup. But clown Rohit opted for SKY. He was also part of the 2024 world t20, set up. Didn't play. That's fine. 2025 missed out again. Now 2027 will miss out again. There isa chance Vaibhav might play ahead of Jaiswal.

Ayush Mhatre is a serious talent as well and he can bowl. So even he may go up in the pecking order. As we have been saying for a while Jaiswal must pick up some ancillary skills. Cannot get into side with single skill. His catching was also poor.

Rohit sharma has to do the honorable thing instead of madly obsessed about winning world cup at the age of 40.

Sooryavanshi will definitely play. No Mhatre is not better than Jaiswal. He has no shot in ODI ahead of Jaiswal. he has to wait.

Jaiswal can bowl.. They are not throwing the ball to him... He has dropped some catches recently but he is not a bad fielder.

Rohit's obsession will lead us to lose 2027 most likely. He will not get anything and spoil it for other players.

The way they pick the side is based on multi skills.  if Ayush and Paragh can give you 10 overs in Gauti's eyes they can dispense with one batsman. and one bowler.

Once Kohli/Rohit leave

Gill

Vaibhav

Kishan

Ayush

Iyer

Kela

Paragh

Pandya/Reddy

Axar

Rana

Bumrah

Arshdeep

That is 8 batsmen one hitter. 6 bwlers.

You are assuming Gambhir and Selectors wont change in 2 years time..

Jaiswal is too good a player to sit out for ever. No way in hell Parag, KL, Mhatre etc etc etc.. play while Jaiswal retires with 6 ODI to his name.  Kishan could lose form and sit out. He is just red hot now and will continue to play until he delivers. He will get longer rope as long as he does well consistently.

These 2 years future compositions are just fancy setups.. Player class works out in long run

Jaiswal is just 23/24 ppl are reacting as if everything is lost. He will be in playing 11 as soon as other players retire. wc will be their last be it wining it or not winning it.

He didnt lose a place to sky in Oid wc -2023 , sky was a bad pick but jsiawal did nt lose it because of that , yes may be some1 can say he could have replaced sky in 15 but thats it.

Yes kishan is in the side till he is doing good as soon as he drops form he will be removed.

The opening was already fixed with gill and Rohit and they had 2 more options in Kishan and KL if there was any kind of need. The team is made of 15 player can not have more than that. if there are already multiple options available then why pick some1 who can only do 1 job??

Sky was picked as a finisher who could score some quick runs, but this is not t20 and he was not playing in top order where ball was new and his ramps and giding the ball shots will go for 6/4.

Hitting an older ball in Odis req. alot of power game

Gambhir may leave. But Gill is here to stay for 10 years. There is a very good chance Sai Sudarshan may come into reckoning given the GT connection.  Many promising talents were given a run. Jaiswal is a generational talent. Generally such players get longer run. They find a way to accommodate them. It is not the case with Jaisal. Gill despite several final failures kept on getting backing. When he was appointed as captain his average in SENA was about 20 or something. Jaiswal doesn't get the same backing say Sai sudarshan , Sundar or even Gill get. When Gill was out of the blue selected for T20I again , they didn't think of Jaiswal.  I don't think Padikkal will get backing as well. Samson could have easily played in ODI squad. His lastinnings was 100. He doesn't get the backing as well.

The biggest challenge for Jaiswal is that he has no home board to support him. He moved to Mumbai from UP when he was a teen so UP board doesn't back him the same way they would've had he stayed there. And Mumbai never accepted him as their own. He will always be an outsider to them. Look at how SKY was able to play ODI and Test despite no performances to speak of in those formats. But Jaiswal can keep on scoring runs but will never get any support.

That's the hard truth. In Indian cricket you need a prominent board's backing. Look at how Hyderabad board even managed to get in KS Bharath over Jurel and Bhogle was going gaga over Bharath's innings of 20 while remaining mum when Jurel scored a 100 after replacing Bharath! That's how things work. Without a Delhi, Punjab, Mumbai, TN, Karnataka, or a Hyderabad board backing you, you're useless. You better be like Sooryavanshi who simply cannot be ignored else you get the Jaiswal or Rinku treatment, i.e. given a token "chance" but discarded at the first opportunity.

After Pandya Reddy also ruled out of UK and Ireland tour.

Shedge is likely replacement

Reddy is turning out to be even more injury prone than Pandu.
