Average display by England bar few players. Mexico played out of their skin. I must say height advantage killed mexico.

They just couldn't penetrate England's defense. Lots of bodyshots taken by them.

Man after watching these teams play and then thinking about us..... India have had issues beating Maldives (hotel workers?) in the past - as recent as 2018.

Height , long legs saved England. Their passes were accurate  better controlled precise compared to England.

If you park the bus by putting 9 or 10 in the box it is almost impossible to score. Like with France and Paraguay yesterday too.  Paraguay did not even bother to play offense.

Today they could have scored. More the players more chaos. Even own goal is a possibility.

Need some open spaces to play soccer - I know about Maharashtra. In cities every single open space is coveted by builders to make some cash. Hardly any grounds in newly built areas.

 

Ahh I remember there was one allotted open space - but the residents took it away from the children who played there to build a <drumroll> temple. They think they will win brownie points with the Gods for doing this. No they won't.....
