Mamu Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 W T F. I myself had been there. Never thought the harbor was dangerous. But I do know how to swim and float. Still am shocked that nobody helped him, nobody called for help when he fell in ? Was he there with a bunch of your other friends? What were they doing? I find this very very hard to believe !
The Dark Horse Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 :(( reminds me of a small boy who drowned himself in a bathtub while i was at school.
Cricketics Posted September 1, 2010 Author Posted September 1, 2010 W T F. I myself had been there. Never thought the harbor was dangerous. But I do know how to swim and float. Still am shocked that nobody helped him, nobody called for help when he fell in ? Was he there with a bunch of your other friends? What were they doing? I find this very very hard to believe ! This was 2 years back. My friend(who died) went with some other friends. They went to NY and after coming back from there, they tried to stop by inner harbor for few mins. Ankush(the victim) told other friends he would take a walk near the harbor for few mins, while other friends were roaming around here and there and chilling, and some friends remained in the car. There was this unknown dude who asked for cigarette and then pushed him for fun. Other friends heard the noise of someone screaming and splash of water. They came to the location and noticed one guy was running. The guy has been arrested today after two years. All this time his friends were being labeled or considered as cheat. I am glad today that his friends(my friends too) are out of this and the real culprit has been arrested. More news will be releasing today.
Ram Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Wow, that changes a lot of things, especially for his parents. They must feel devastated, knowing that their son was actually murdered.

coffee_rules Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Very Sad. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time. It could happen to anybody. The other day in NJ we heard of a Desi Univ Prof being beaten by a group of teenagers just outside his home and died of wounds inflicted 2 days later, he had some minor heart ailment. He was just going out for a walk at around 9 PM with his 10 year old son after dinner. http://www.paklinks.com/gs/all-views/436193-indian-professor-in-new-jersey-killed-by-3-black-teenagers.html
