Krejza has done more in one inning, what Lee, Clark, White and Watson managed to do in 3 tests so far. However, lets not read too much into this. Its not like he destroyed us, ala Mendis style. When a team scores 450 runs, wickets are bound to fall. And when wickets fall, someone is bound to take 'em. He just happened to be the guy.

yeah ... in fact I read that it is the highest number of runs ever conceded in a debut innings. But one has to appreciate his bottle ... to keep fighting is a great quality to have as a spinner.

errr... are you guys serious?? he was crap, after giving 414 runs away, he got the tail out cheaply i see the standards have gone down now for australian players :haha::haha: which is a good thing!!

Look, Krejsza basically pulled a very poor man's Murali here : Bowled a ton of overs, took a ton of wickets, gave a ton of runs, while all the other bowlers kinda revolved around him. Impressive debut- whats impressive was his attitude- he didn't get fazed, he didnt go into a shell and still gave the ball air and tossed it up. I just wish our spinners had that attitude because Bhajji is a very annoying bowler to watch : he is talented, has a good grip of L&L, nice turn, decent doosra, average variation (could be improved but IMO adequate) but is a total panzy. Hit him around and his trajectory changes to flat, fastish 'cant hit me but i wont get you unless you do something really stupid' mode of cr@p spin bowling. *Sigh*

Yeh he did get smashed around and may have got a few wickets to silly shots while trying to smash him more but he got 8 wickets, which is something quite special considering so far our spinners have managed 1 wicket

where u been during the series Down-Under when everyone ganged up on him including the media? Did you see how he performed under fire there, brah?

There is only person who has picked him in his SS squad? Who is that Super Selector? BTW... we should thank Yuvi, Rohit, Kohli and co. which made ponting not picking him for the frst 3 tests

Despite the 8-for ...I dont rate this guy that much. I think if the Indians show some concentration and discipline and pick and choose their attacking shots better than they did in the first innings, he wont get many wickets. I think amongst Aussie spinners ... Cullen, Hauritz, and McGain are 3 better spinners. I think Indian wickets tend to favour the off-spinners more than leg-spinners. I think its got to do with the trajectory and the drop ... the sharp turn really suits offies a lot. Perhaps Dhoni should have played Pragyan Ojha instead of Mishra because of this reason. That way we still have one bowler turning into the right hander and one turning it away.
