Lord
will dhoni rest himself from some of these odis against england? Its obvious he should but will he? Don't want to see him resting from tests again' date= especially now he is skipper. he shouldnt.he's just 27 n quite fit n just played two series after his rest from tests in srl.he can very well rest after eng test series as pak series(if it happens) is 1 month after end of eng tour. but if he wants to take a rest, as u say its much better than pulling out of tests.:winky: Link to comment
Sooda
Sree Goswami and Wridd Saha play for the same state- Bengal- Making it hard for poor Goswami who dosent keep for state as far as I am aware, whats more they play in the plate division not exactly the highest standard theres Dharmani? Vidyut? Promising youngsters Link to comment

cricketman
Dinesh Karthik was the stand in for Badrinath. He's VC now but does a lot of the thinkwork with Badrinath. Actually, TN are doing very well both under KKD and Badri. Mukund got a 300, Vijay got a 200, they've pulverized any opposition with their bowling, and KKDs keeping has been better. Link to comment
Ram
We shouldnt just let Karthik go like that. He's a talented player no doubt and must always be kept in the scheme of things. He will come good. Link to comment

beetle
The only way SL wa able to "preserve" Sanga, was they got a specialist keeper in Tests. With MSD being captain in all forms of the game, and expected to score runs while batting, sooner or later in Tests, there will come a burn out time, and a need for specialist keeper (who can bat a bit) like SL has found. MSD had mentioned in a TV interview that he is not a specialist batsman like Sanga and his primary job is keeping wicket. He also mentioned that he would keep wickets in all forms of the game as it helped him with his captaincy Link to comment

Well....your KKD is batting 159 against UP :-) maybe if he makes a 250-300 .....he will play all of this season for TN ...but India ? surely no way.. btw...KKD is leading TN , even if Badri plays. King Tendulkar
Karthick smokes a double ton. Like sooda said not long ago he was decent test opener dont forget he opened with some success in our victorious tour of england. This guy will be back no doubts, he has talent, skill and has shown he can do the business at international level. HE IS ONLY 23! He will improve and get better and better. A year or 2 in FC cricket is going to really help this guy Link to comment
satishg
KKD will return for sure..he has age and talent by his side..although he has to sort out some glaring shortcomings first..which can be done in FC cricket..he shd ideally play for 2 years and then come back to the team depending on his performance Link to comment
