Zaheer did the same thing last time they toured here when the bowled a fiery spell of reverse swing and took out their tail very quickly. I can't wait till tomorrow morning for a long 7-8 over spell from Zaheer to see what he can do.

Lol, NO he is not. Zaheer at 30+ is no way even near WA, not saying Zak can't make up for all the wasted years but I don't think he will be able to improve much with such poor fitness level, which is sad as I had always thought and still feels he is the best medium fast bowler India ever produced

I agree he's definitely improved to world class after his stint in county cricket which raises the question why BCCI has banned players from county cricket? Tit for tat bcz ECB didnt support the IPL from the start? But very short sighted...

For a guy who used to predominately swing only one way when he started , this guy has come a long way . Now , the batsmen better be aware , the ball can swing both ways and at considerable pace.

Zaheer is probably one of the finest left handers to bowl ever in my opinion. When you take into consideration he's spent more than half of his test career bowling on flat subcontinent pitches, and more importantly without the benefit a decent bowling partner. When you look at all the great fast bowlers they've always had good to great bowling partners from Walsh/Ambrose, Wasim/Imran/Waqar, Donald/Pollock, Lillee/Thompson and so on. Even now, at his best, India can't provide a decent bowler to compliment Zaheer, to keep the pressure up from the other end. I really believe if we just had one decent/consistent fast bowler on the other end instead of the inconsistent rubbish we've seen from Ishant/Sree/Pathan etc etc Zaheer would have been beyond 300 wickets by now. Whether it be seam/swing bowling, attacking with the new ball, going over/around the wicket, or reverse swing, Zaheer has done what few bowlers have ever achieved and that's be a genuine wicket takers in any conditions against any side.

4 wickets in second innings for India A. Class act. We dont have abundance of quality seamers who we know can do the bussiness. Slim and fit. Getting better every game. For me a must for Test squad and must go to SA.

Brilliant !!!!!! His out swinger to RHB from over the wicket is just awesome. His presence has done wonders to our bowling attack. Really Sachin of bowling attack. :)
