Ram Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 From the sadness of Mumbai, images from the Chennai floods.. This is the worst flooding I have personally endured in Chennai in over 2 decades. No electricity, no water, no phone-lines. Essentially, people were marooned inside their own houses, not being able to go out, not being able to stay too, for two days. Thankfully, the rains have stopped and things are returning to normal.

fineleg Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 This Madras floods happened during the Bombay crisis and hence did not get much coverage. Hope things improve. The photos seem to indicate pretty heavy flooding.
