msb1991 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I'm not sure about replacing Irfan Pathan, he has been punished in this series because he seems an easy pace for the batsmen because he does not get much carry but he has got some nice swing which may prove useful in ODIs.

He has been taking time to adjust to conditions but with plenty of time between the T20 and the first ODI and considering he has ten overs rather than four, I believe that he can have an impact. I think that the key will be Munaf Patel with the ball as on form, he can quitely go for 30 off his 10 overs which may be invaluable in contests which promise to be, on the whole, highscoring, although I do not doubt there will be the odd 250 plays 225 game.
