Yea, I heard its the same in some parts of Calif too, like the Bay area.. WTF man! It gets pretty warm there in the summer some times and no air-conditioning?! Even if it isnt warm, just feeling of setting the room-temp at 70 deg F and disappearing under a comforter is one of the best feelings a man can get! How can the Calif people be without that? :D Thats why everyone should live in Florida. There maybe houses without doors even, but all of 'em have air con. :D
Hmm.. i've lived in California for 9 years now, and I would've hardly been to 2-3 places without a central AC.. Almost everyone has it I think, especially if you're living in an apartment.

I got the lulz of my life when I read the BBC article that said ‘UK to suffer intense heat-wave’' date=' only to see that the temperatures may touch 32, 33 deg centigrade… WTF! Do you call that heat-wave? I should ask some of these guys to come and stay in Chennai. We have 35+ degrees AND 85% humidity 365 days a year… What d’ya call that? A blaze-wave or something? :hmmm:[/quote'] Its the humidity/way the place is built up here though..there is literally no air to breathe here its that bad lol. I can handle heat in India, but heat in London is awful

^ Ah yes- this is when that old adage- man is a fool etc etc comes into force... Its been a good summer in the UK- having said that bit of a downpour today

i can see why u feel like that i too come from a hot country orginally as well (east africa) where we get similar climate however' date=' the reason its unbareable here has alot to do with how congested london is, the fact that [b']the buildings and homes are designed to contain heat and keep as warm as possible unlike places like india where homes are designed to keep cool! :) hope that makes a bit more sense! outside is fine i'd rather be outdoors and than indoors right now!!
Hmm, I didnt know that..
