Jabu Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Who is Umar Akmal, never been seen even on sports page!!!
Don Sharma Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 He has got good technique and seems to have almost all the shots in the bag. Hope he does well for the Pakis, but comparing him with SRT is needless.
king2be98 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 First off everyone outside of India knows tha Tendulkar's record and performances do not even come close to Dravid's. Dravid is the man who carried India all that time and did not choke in pressure situations. Secondly, I wouldn't want Umar Akmal to be like SRT, a guy who's got individual records for sure, but how many cups has he brought home? How many tests has he won on his own? I've always rated Dravid higher and it will always be the case. Akmal is a good batsman for sure, but please don't compare him to an SRT.
SachDan Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 First off everyone outside of India knows tha Tendulkar's record and performances do not even come close to Dravid's. Good joke :hysterical:

It's the same place where they think Akmal is better than Dhoni, Nazir is better than Gambhir and Butt is better than Sehwag.

EnterTheVoid Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Why do p@kis keep comparing their no - name bozos, ahem, "cricketers" to SRT ?
mhr123 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Well every time a new batsman in the padosi nation comes and scores few runs , he is immediately compared to Sachins / Dravids/ Gangulys.. later on he is a big phuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuussss and is out of the team.
SachDan Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 hey what abt Taufee Kumar.... i forgot with whom he was compared:nervous: Sehwag! :haha:
Gambit Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Forget SRT, Gavaskar and Dravid. Pakistan are yet to produce a better batsman than Veeru. :desiwoman:

king2be98 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Dude don't get us started on the countless pathetic comparisons with Pakistan's former greats. Indians are just as pathetic and fickle as anyone else in world cricket, do you not recall Irfan Pathan being touted as the next Wasim Akram? You guys are unbelievably racist, I have many Indian friends in the real world, none of them have issues with Pakistan and none of them are as arrogant and ignorant as the posters on here. Why Pakistanis and Indians have to hurl foul rubbish at each other is beyond me. Instead of praising Afridi, Yousuf for their recent glories, and achievements you bring up Tendulkar's performances, what's that got to do with anything? Instead of accepting that Tendulkar is high class batsman, the Pakistanis will bring up how he was manhandled by Asif in Karachi, it's kind of pathetic, how Pakis and Rags behave, really is.
EnterTheVoid Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 What a load of mind numbing crap. Please get off your high horse.
Master Blaster Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Only good thing about him is that hes young and thats about it..

"You praise Afridi and we praise Tendulkar"- that's not a fair trade. The whole world praises Tendulkar, we don't need any from Pakistan.
